Eight months!
So much has happened recently! She's added a lot of sounds to her repertoire, she's starting to show preferences for certain toys, and she is crawling all over the place. She *still* isn't up on her hands and knees, but she doesn't need to be. She'll be playing in the living room, I'll look away long enough to fold a shirt, and she's in the dining room. We've been working on baby proofing, but she always finds the *one thing* that she can still get into, and that is her one and only target for the rest of the day. She finally got her first tooth to show up, and now she is proudly showing it off to anyone and everyone. She also loves sticking her tongue out, so you may not get to see the tooth...but you do get to see the cutest mischievous look ever. She's getting much better about eating solid foods. She loves her pears, so we've started mixing other foods with the pears to get her to eat more. I can't wait to see what she learns this month!

She does love sticking her tongue out! I think she enjoyed watching Grandma do it too. Babies make us do silly things. Aren't they wonderful, especially Nory!
